Limetax is building the operating system for the €20B German tax advisory industry. We acquire established tax firms and transform them into high-performing, technology-enabled businesses. The Role

This is a 3-month internship sitting at the core of our investments process. We acquire tax firms, and doing that well requires rigorous deal sourcing, sharp financial analysis, and well-prepared materials at every stage. That's where you come in. You'll work directly with the founding team on live deal processes.

What You'll Work On

• Deal sourcing and market screening. Identifying and profiling acquisition targets across the German tax advisory market.

• Financial modelling and valuation. Building and stress-testing models that underpin our investment decisions.

• Due diligence support. Preparing and structuring financial and commercial DD materials for ongoing processes.

• Deal documentation. Supporting the preparation of LOIs, investment memos, and board materials.

• Market and competitive analysis. Keeping our view of the market sharp and up to date.

Who You Are

You're a student in the final stages of your degree or a recent graduate with a strong foundation in finance and ideally some first exposure to M&A, private equity, or investment banking. You write and communicate clearly, and you're comfortable presenting your work and defending your thinking. Excellent German and English is a must.

You think rigorously. You don't just run the numbers, you form a view on the business behind them. Your analysis is clean, your assumptions are documented, and you know when something doesn't add up and why.

You move with urgency. Deal processes don't wait. You're able to form a directional view fast, act on it, and refine as you go. You don't sit on open questions.

You take full ownership. You own a workstream from start to finish. You close the loop, follow through on the details, and don't hand something off until it's done properly.
