Engineering Manager, Payments

We are looking for an Engineering Manager to lead one of the engineering teams within Payments domain in Berlin. In this role, you will drive the design and development of modern payments solutions for the mobility solutions that enhance the experience of our partners like Restaurants, Couriers

As an Engineering Manager , you will lead a team of highly skilled software engineers, working closely with Product, Analytics, and Operations teams to deliver impactful features and seamless experiences for Bolt users.

As an Engineering Manager for the Payments team, you will lead a team of software engineers to development of modern payments solutions for the mobility domain that enhance user engagement and redefine travel experiences for millions of riders worldwide..

<strong> Your daily adventures will include: </strong>

• Leading and mentoring a cross-functional team of engineers in the Payments domain, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration
• Driving the development of new payment methodologies that help our partners to receive their earnings while processing more than a billion transactions annually.
• Lead a team that impacts more than 1+ million partners working with Bolt.
• Ensuring technical excellence , maintaining high standards for quality, performance, and reliability in engineering projects.
• Collaborating closely with Product, Analytics, and Operations to define priorities, plan roadmaps, and deliver impactful solutions.
• Managing team growth and performance , including hiring, mentoring, and providing constructive feedback.

<strong> About you: </strong>

• You have proven experience in team and stakeholder management within a tech environment with prior experience in people management for at least 2 years.
• You make data-driven decisions , using metrics to guide team priorities and product improvements.
• You have a good understanding of delivering and being part of ROI driven product roadmap development.
• You have backend development experience , preferably in a Product based Company .
• You can motivate, inspire, and attract top talent while fostering a high-performing engineering culture.
• You lead initiatives end-to-end , driving execution even through the toughest challenges.
