Our software optimizes the control of heating systems in residential buildings, helping to fight climate change. By digitalizing and automating control processes, we reduce both emissions and energy consumption – actively driving forward the energy transition.

As a Senior Software Developer , you’ll join our Platforms Team and help bring our product vision to life:

"Emitting less, gaining more: Transform residential buildings into auto-optimising, CO₂-neutral assets."

You’ll play a key role in improving and streamlining internal collaboration by building internal tools that automate and simplify cross-team processes.

Tasks

• Write software – implementing features and changes end-to-end, covering the database model, backend, and frontend code.
• Collaborate with your team to understand underlying problems and requirements.
• Contribute to team planning by helping define tasks, priorities, and timelines.

Requirements

• Solid educational background – ideally a degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 5+ years of professional experience in software development
• Solid experience across frontend and backend – especially with TypeScript , Python , Next.js
• Proficiency in at least one modern language: TypeScript , Python , Go , or Rust
• Familiarity with Nest.js , SQL , or the energy sector is a plus
• Ability to write high-quality, production-ready code
• Able to take responsibility and work closely with other engineers
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Independent, structured working style
• Fluent in both German and English
