Entrepreneur in Residence (Finance & Business Development) @Stealth Mobility Start-up (T1 VC-backed)

We’re a stealth, Tier-1 VC-backed mobility start-up that’s rewriting how vehicle inspection centers are built and operated. With a proven expansion blueprint and a clear M&A strategy, we’ll triple revenue next year. Our founders - serial entrepreneurs who’ve raised > USD 80m from top-tier US investors and just closed another strong Seed round - are pushing hard into new geographies.

Now we need a top 0.1% builder with a financial mindset - someone who wants to own the numbers, shape our financial backbone, and drive business execution as we grow. If you want real responsibility early and operate with pace - read on.

You’ll work directly with Samuel, our CCO, and take full ownership over our Finance, Accounting, and Controlling functions while supporting broader business development and automation initiatives.

Tasks

You’ll be the financial engine behind the company - keeping our books clean, our reporting sharp, and our planning future-proof. Alongside this, you’ll support cross-functional business development workstreams.

• Investor Reporting: Create reporting packages for our board meetings, founders, and investors — clear, concise, reliable.
• Accounting Ownership: Prepare and organise financial documents, invoices, and receipts to ensure clean bookkeeping foundations. Maintain the financial hygiene of our company to the highest standards.
• Controlling & Budgeting: Build our controlling structures from scratch — develop dashboards, track KPIs, and support financial planning as we scale.
• Payroll Coordination: Own internal payroll coordination and collaborate closely with our external payroll provider.
• Bookkeeping Liaison: Act as the main interface for our external accounting partners and ensure frictionless monthly and annual closings.
• M&A Analysis: Support in preparing financial analyses for potential M&A opportunities and investor-facing materials.
• Business Development: Support GTM, automation, and strategic projects across functions.

No two weeks will look the same. One day you’ll tighten our monthly reporting structure, the next you’ll run an automation pilot with the expansion team, or prep investor materials with Samuel. You’ll have direct access to decision-making - no red tape.

Requirements

You’re structured, analytical, and sharp. You’re not intimidated by spreadsheets, deadlines, or ambiguity. You enjoy making numbers speak - and making teams execute.

• Professional experience in finance, accounting, controlling, corporate finance, FP&A, or similar.
• Strong analytical skill set - Excel/Sheets mastery is expected.
• Comfortable creating financial reports, handling bookkeeping documents, and dealing with unstructured workflows.
• Experienced in fast‑paced environments (hypergrowth start‑ups, VC, growth equity, PE, investment banking, or strategy consulting) and capable of delivering high‑quality outcomes.
• An excellent multitasker with strong organisational skills and adaptability to shifting priorities.
• A proactive communicator and team player with a service mindset and high integrity.
• Passionate about entrepreneurship and the start-up ecosystem with a genuine hunger to learn, grow and build a massive ops-heavy company.
• Completed a bachelor's or master’s programme (business-related field is a plus) from a top-tier university.
• Fully fluent in German is a must (C2).
