(Senior) Data Architect (d/f/m)

What you´ll do

• Unlock Henkel’s data by architecting a global data mesh with hundreds of data products across multiple platforms that enable people to derive insights, take better decisions and innovate
• Define architecture principles, standards and processes to ensure consistency, interoperability and quality across our entire data ecosystem
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, and platform teams to align our architecture with business goals and identify strategic data opportunities that create measurable business impact
• Design the data architecture for strategic programs and manage the implementation roadmap
• Lead with technical expertise, enabling teams to build high-quality, reusable, and secure data products

What makes you a good fit

• Master’s degree in computer science or a related field
• 6+ years of experience designing and implementing analytical solutions; with 3+ years in an architect role
• Hands-on experience with modern data platforms (Azure Databricks, Power BI, MS Fabric. SAP BW/Datasphere/BDC is a plus); strong in data modeling, data governance, and domain-driven design
• Proven ability in data strategy, decentralized data architectures (e.g., Data Mesh), and excellent communication skills
• Fluent in English; German language skill is a plus

This position can be filled in Düsseldorf or Berlin.
