We are a beauty start-up founded in 2020 and located in the heart of Berlin. Our team is composed of over 100 brilliant human beings who came from all over the world to write Yepoda’s story actively.

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our growing Data team at Yepoda.

Your Tasks

• Optimize and maintain the data platform, ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance.

• Build and manage automated data pipelines using Airbyte and dbt .

• Support Analytics Engineers and Data Analysts with efficient, automated workflows.

• Write and optimize complex SQL queries and Python scripts for data processing.

• Collaborate on version-controlled projects in GitHub , following best coding practices.

• Translate business requirements into technical solutions, ensuring accurate and accessible data.

Your Profile

• 5–10 years of experience in data engineering or similar roles.

• Strong expertise in GCP and BigQuery .

• Hands-on experience with dbt and data transformation workflows.

• Proficient in SQL and Python .

• Experience with Airbyte or Fivetran or similar ingestion tools.

• Experience with Airflow, Dagster or Prefect or similar orchestration tools.

• Comfortable working with large datasets and optimizing platform performance.

Nice to have

• Experience with CI/CD for data pipelines.

• Knowledge of data modeling best practices.

• Exposure to other cloud platforms or ETL tools.

• Prior experience supporting analytics teams in scaling data operations.

• Familiarity with monitoring and alerting solutions for data workflows.
