Hier treibe ich den Ausbau und die Vernetzung moderner Kommunikationsinfrastrukturen voran - von Rechenzentrum bis Büro.

Das macht diesen Job für mich interessant: Die Elia Group betreibt IT-Infrastrukturen an hunderten Standorten in Belgien und Deutschland - von Rechenzentren über Bürostandorte und Umspannwerke bis hin zu Offshore-Plattformen und Cloud-Providern. In meiner Rolle im Team Datacom wirke ich am Design, der Installation und Integration neuer Systeme in unserem IP-Netzwerk mit. In diesem Umfeld habe ich zugleich die Chance, mein Know-how in der Zusammenarbeit mit IP-Netzwerkbegeisterten kontinuierlich zu erweitern.

Meine Aufgaben:

• Durchführung aller Planungs-, Konfigurations-, und Netzintegrationsaufgaben einschließlich der Qualitätssteuerung zur Sicherstellung der geforderten Eigenschaften im Projektauftrag,
• Anwendung der Standards und technischen Richtlinien der Elia-Group/50Hertz zu Netzwerkinfrastruktur, Automatisierung, IT-Security, zentralen Diensten und Monitoring,
• Mitarbeit bei Anforderungsermittlung, Risikoanalyse und Kommunikationsmatrix,
• Erarbeiten von High Level Design, Low Level Design sowie von Betriebskonzepten,
• Beschaffung, Installation, Konfiguration, Test, Netzintegration, Inbetriebnahme von Netzwerkkomponenten,
• Know-how-Transfer zu den IP Operation Engineers, Unterstützung bei betrieblichen Aufgaben und Sonderkonfigurationen,
• Anforderungsgerechte Weiterentwicklung durch Schulungen und Messebesuche,
• Teilnahme am Bereitschaftsdienst.

Meine Kompetenzen:

• Abgeschlossenes Studium oder Berufsausbildung im Bereich Informatik oder Nachrichtentechnik oder eine anderweitig nachweisbare Qualifikation,
• Tiefergehende Kenntnisse in der Planung, Konfiguration und Integration von höheren Diensten in IP-Netzwerken mit den gängigen Architekturen und Technologien,
• Mehrjährige Erfahrung in Enterprise-Umgebungen (Carrier-/Service-Providerumfeld), in denen Verfügbarkeit, Sicherheit und Detailgenauigkeit von großer Bedeutung waren,
• Hohe Eigenmotivation, Verantwortungsübernahme und selbständige Arbeitsweise,
• Nachweisbare Kenntnisse der Standard-Netzwerktechnologien (TCP/IP),
• Sprachkenntnisse in Deutsch (C1-Niveau) und Englisch (B2-Niveau).

Kein Muss, aber von Vorteil:

• Kenntnisse und Erfahrungen im Einsatz und Umgang mit Systemen der PaloAlto, Fortinet, F5, Infoblox, Cisco,
• Kenntnisse im Umgang mit Linux, Git, Python, Ansible, CI/CD-Pipelinening, k8s (Network Automation),
• Erfahrung im Umgang mit Management-Systemen wie z. B. Splunk, PRTG und Netbrain,
• Nachweis von Zertifizierungen (bspw. CCNA, CCNP).

As one of the four transmission grid operators in Germany, 50Hertz is responsible for high-voltage power transmission; control at this level is decisive for the stability of the grid and to ensure a secure electricity supply in Germany and Europe. We are part of a European grid association, working closely with colleagues throughout Europe. 50Hertz is part of a European company, working alongside Belgian grid operator Elia in the Elia Group. We work together closely in many key areas. Individual activities such as IT or purchasing are organised at the group level, which means that in these areas colleagues from Elia and 50Hertz work in a team from both Berlin and Brussels.
