Your mission

The Bikeleasing Group has developed into a leading group of companies for employer benefits and mobility solutions. It comprises five specialized companies, including multi-benefit providers, leasing and insurance service providers, as well as retailers for refurbished bikes. With our continued profitable growth and expansion, we are on an exciting technical transformation journey. To support this, we are looking for you as an Senior Analytics Engineer (gn). In this role, you will strategically evolve our data warehouse: from a functioning MVP setup to a scalable, robust, and future-proof platform. This is not just about pipelines, but above all about strong data models, high quality standard, performant transformations, and a warehouse the business can rely on. You will work with a high degree of autonomy, technical depth, and a clear focus on delivering business value.

• You take technical ownership of our data warehouse and continuously develop its architecture, data models, and quality standards
• You use dbt strategically: from modular modeling, tests, documentation, and refactoring to reusable patterns with Jinja, and you establish best practices within the team
• You improve the performance, scalability, and reliability of our Redshift-based warehouse and help professionalize our platform for the long term
• You develop new data pipelines and, together with the team, take responsibility for their clean orchestration and stable operation in Airflow
• You contribute best practices in governance and observability, further develop standards for data quality, ownership, monitoring, and documentation, and ensure that issues are identified early and addressed reliably

Your profile

• You bring several years of experience as an Analytics Engineer, Data Engineer, or in a comparable role and have already worked on the further development of modern data platforms
• You have very strong SQL skills, feel at home with dbt, and are an expert in data modeling, complex transformations, and performance optimization
• You work according to modern engineering best practices and are curious to pragmatically use new tools, automation, and AI-supported approaches to further develop our data platform
• You are familiar with cloud data warehouses such as AWS Redshift, Snowflake, or comparable technologies and ideally have experience with Airflow, monitoring, and the stable operation of data workflows
• You are not only a strong engineer but also curious about business processes, think in terms of data products and standards, and have the ambition to actively shape governance, quality, and transparency of a data platform
