Lead Technical Project Manager - Intralogistics (all genders)
- You manage the planning, design, and implementation of complex intralogistics automation projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and in line with performance targets.
- Moreover, you dive deep into hardware engineering and conveyor system installations to create highly efficient automation solutions for shop-floor operations.
- In addition, you explore innovative technologies such as robotics, AI applications, and AMRs, translating ideas into solid business cases and strategic recommendations for senior management.
- Acting as the central interface of the Automation workstream, you collaborate closely with internal stakeholders such as Construction and Operations, as well as external conveyor system suppliers.
- By applying project management best practices, tools, and methodologies, you ensure high standards in documentation, communication, and proactive risk management.
- University degree in technical logistics, economics, engineering or a comparable educational background
- At least 7 years of relevant professional experience in sectors such as manufacturing and production planning, (intra)logistics, automation engineering, logistics planning, construction, industry, project management or consulting, managing large international projects with a logistics focus.
- Proven efficient working methods (e.g. through PRINCE2 certification or similar), combined with a highly analytical and solution-oriented mindset to set up complex Greenfield and retrofit projects.
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken) are required, any other additional language skills would be a plus.
- Willingness to travel within Europe and Overseas (around 20-30% of your working time, depending on the project phase).
