cap-on supports machine and plant manufacturers with a plug-and-play IoT solution and associated web platform to easily implement data-based business models such as pay-per-use, remote service or fleet digitization.

We not only have many years of experience in developing scalable, production-ready IoT applications, but also a strong partner in the industry with thyssenkrupp.

Who are we looking for?

• 3+ years of professional experience as a software engineer
• Track record of the realization and/or support of own software projects in production
• Extensive knowledge of Python and/or Golang & modern standards
• Infra/DevOps: Docker, Linux, Shell, Cloud Architecture (AWS)
• You speak fluent German and English.
• You will work 3 out of 5 days in our Berlin office. Exceptions are possible.

Nice-to-have knowledge includes:

• Advanced DevOps (K8s, CI/CD, Infra-as-Code)
• Industrial protocols: OPC UA, MQTT, Modbus, S7, ADS and others
• DBs: Postgres, Redis, Clickhouse
• A completed degree in computer science, business informatics, or a related field is advantageous.
• Web technologies: JavaScript, CSS, HTML5, React
