The AI for Automation team is a small, effective unit within our wider Data, Analytics & AI function – focused on delivering generative AI solutions that create measurable efficiency and value across operational and regulated domains. We work cross-functionally with business units, Digital, and adjacent data and analytics teams, moving fast from idea to proof-of-concept to production. As our AI Delivery Lead, you will be the connective tissue between engineering and business – owning delivery end-to-end in an environment where getting things into production is not the exception, it is the expectation.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Taking ownership of end-to-end delivery across generative AI projects – from problem framing and discovery through proof-of-concept, proof-of-value, and into production – with accountability for scope, priorities, and outcomes.

• Ensuring solutions are built for production from the start – with scalability, security, compliance, and maintainability as non-negotiables, not afterthoughts.

• Driving prioritization and decision-making across active projects and ongoing maintenance: defining what gets built, in what order, and why – coordinating with engineers and LLMOps to ensure execution follows.

• Acting as the technical bridge between engineering and business: understanding what is being built deeply enough to challenge assumptions, spot risks early, and translate between stakeholder needs and engineering realities.

• Leading cross-functional project setups across our Data, Analytics & AI organization to build solutions together with teams of engineers, analysts, data scientists, and BI specialists.

• Pushing the frontier – actively identifying new approaches, emerging capabilities, and opportunities to apply generative AI in ways that go beyond the current roadmap.

• Contributing to solution development directly – not just overseeing it. You are expected to get your hands into prototyping, evaluation, and technical problem-solving when it matters.

You have built things. You take ownership of delivery without waiting to be told what to do next. You are equally at ease in a technical architecture discussion and a business requirements workshop, and you adapt your communication accordingly. You understand that in a small, fast-moving team, roles are fluid – some days you run the process, other days you roll up your sleeves and contribute directly to what is being built. You are comfortable with that ambiguity and see it as an opportunity. You also know how to get the best out of people without having formal authority over them.

In addition, your profile includes:

• A strong technical foundation in AI, machine learning, or software development – you have built or operated systems.

• 4+ years of experience in a delivery or technical lead role within data, analytics, or software development – Ideally in consulting, digital product, or a high-performing data & AI team.

• Strong technical fluency in AI or generative AI: you understand how these systems are built, what makes them complex, and what good delivery looks like in practice.

• Proven ability to drive prioritization and delivery across complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives where scope and requirements evolve.

• Strong communication skills: you translate technical complexity into clear business language and vice versa, without losing the nuance.

A plus for this role

• Practical experience with generative AI development: prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation, LLM-based applications, or LLMOps.

• A background that spans both technical delivery and business engagement – you have done both, not just one.

• Experience implementing and orchestrating agile methodologies for Software, Data Science or AI deliveries.
