Founding GTM Engineer

About the Role

This is a founding sales role at an early-stage AI healthtech startup focused on the veterinary industry. You'll join the founding team from day one to build the sales engine from scratch, with a clear path toward an Account Executive position — shaping how the company reaches and scales with veterinary practices.

What You'll Do

• Independently prospect and close veterinary practices end-to-end, from target identification through deal closure.

• Develop and continuously refine outreach strategies across email, LinkedIn, phone, and events.

• Build and maintain strong customer relationships focused on retention, upsells, and referrals.

• Own the CRM from day one, maintaining clean pipelines, reliable data, and clear reporting.

• Run structured A/B tests to identify the most effective channels, segments, and messaging.

• Feed market and customer feedback directly to the product and founding team.

• Contribute to hiring, training, and onboarding future sales team members.

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years in sales, business development, or GTM roles with direct responsibility for pipeline generation and closing.

• Demonstrated full-cycle B2B sales experience: prospecting, qualification, negotiation, and closing — B2B SaaS or enterprise software preferred.

• Proficiency with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or Pipedrive, including pipeline management and reporting.

• Hands-on experience with multi-channel outreach: email campaigns, LinkedIn prospecting, cold calling, and event-based sales.

• Experience designing and running sales messaging and channel experiments to surface high-performing segments.

• Ability to translate customer conversations into actionable product insights.

• Experience building or documenting sales processes and playbooks at an early-stage company.

• Background in healthcare, veterinary, or regulated professional services is a strong plus.

• Experience selling AI or SaaS products to SMB or mid-market customers is a plus.

• Entrepreneurial mindset — moves fast, takes ownership, and thrives in ambiguity.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: €60,000 – €70,000 per year
