To support its strategic and financial transformation, the company is seeking a Senior Manager - Strategic Controlling & Capital Markets. Reporting directly to the Senior VP of Controlling, this role offers a unique opportunity to drive performance management, strengthen capital market readiness, and support strategic growth initiatives on a global scale. The position is based Berlin, Germany. What the job involves

• Develop and maintain detailed financial models and performance analyses (financial statements, KPIs) to support strategic decisions and evaluate company performance
• Partner closely with Group Management to develop growth strategies and prepare strategic presentations for internal and external stakeholders
• Contribute to budgeting and forecasting processes by identifying trends, variances, and key performance drivers to enhance business planning and decision-making
• Collaborate with controlling, treasury, tax, accounting, and strategy teams to ensure alignment and efficient communication across all financial functions
• Prepare regular financial and operational performance reports and communicate with external partners, including investors and analysts
• Identify financial and operational risks and support the implementation of process improvements to increase efficiency and transparency in financial reporting

Who we are looking for

• University degree in finance, business administration, or a related field (MBA or CPA qualification is a strong plus)
• Several years of professional experience in finance or strategy roles, ideally gained in a Big 4 firm, top-tier consulting firm, or corporate finance environment with exposure to both buy-side and sell-side transactions
• Proven expertise in financial modelling, valuation, and performance reporting
• Strong strategic and analytical mindset, with the ability to synthesize complex financial data into clear insights
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging with senior stakeholders and external partners
• High degree of resilience and adaptability, thriving in a fast-paced and evolving environment
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively across functions and influence stakeholders at all levels
• Fluency in both German and English
