Interim Head of International Marketing (m/f/d)

As our Head of International Marketing, you will lead the alignment of marketing direction and priorities across international markets and ensure that central brand strategy is translated into clear, effective local execution.

You will ensure continuity across brand, social media, influencer, and design, align regional execution with broader brand direction, and support the business through clear prioritisation, team leadership and performance-based decision-making.

Tasks

• Lead and support the marketing team across Brand, Social Media, Influencer and Design, with an operational focus on the DACH region.
• Align local marketing direction and priorities with international brand and business objectives.
• Oversee regional marketing plans, key initiatives and campaign execution across relevant channels.
• Provide input on marketing budget planning and oversee the operational use within agreed frameworks.
• Review marketing performance, market feedback and business inputs to support prioritisation and adjustments.
• Act as the key interface between local teams and international stakeholders to ensure clear communication and aligned execution.
• Support the ongoing organisation and development of the marketing team, ways of working and cross-functional collaboration.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver effective marketing activities in the region.
• Ensure continuity and stability of marketing operations during the temporary cover period.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in marketing, including leadership experience across multiple marketing functions or teams.
• Strong understanding of multi-channel marketing and the DACH market environment.
• Ability to lead teams, coordinate across functions and collaborate effectively with both local and international stakeholders.
• Strong analytical mindset and confidence working with KPIs, performance data and market feedback.
• Experience working with marketing budgets and using performance data to guide spending decisions.
• Hands-on, structured and pragmatic approach, with the ability to operate effectively in a transitional setting.
• German at near‑native level and very strong English communication skills (both mandatory).
