Founding Business Development Representative (BDR)

About the Role

We're a fast-growing, early-stage conversational AI SaaS company building a voice platform that automates customer call operations for B2C businesses — handling sales, support, and operational tasks at scale. Backed by top-tier investors including Y Combinator and a leading European venture fund, we're now hiring our first sales team member .

As the Founding BDR , you'll be the face of early customer acquisition — owning pipeline development from the ground up, shaping the sales playbook, and building the GTM engine that will scale with the company.

What You'll Do

• Generate qualified pipeline to drive significant revenue growth over the next year.

• Identify the right prospects and engage them through targeted, thoughtful outreach.

• Execute multi-channel outreach campaigns across email, LinkedIn, and phone.

• Build and nurture relationships with prospective and existing customers.

• Manage the pipeline and maintain CRM tooling to ensure clean, accurate data.

• Shape the GTM motion, build a repeatable sales process, and continuously refine outreach strategies.

What We're Looking For

Required:

• Proven experience in a Sales or Business Development role — startup or early-stage environment strongly preferred.

• Track record of building a GTM motion and repeatable sales process from scratch.

• Demonstrated ability to generate qualified pipeline and contribute directly to revenue growth.

• Proficiency with multi-channel outreach (email, LinkedIn, phone) and CRM tooling.

• Strong fundamentals in customer-facing communication and consultative selling.

• Fluency in both English and German .

Nice to Have:

• Experience selling AI, voice, or automation software to B2C-focused businesses.

• Consistent track record of meeting or exceeding quota/KPIs.

• Strong business acumen — able to quickly understand a prospect's pain points and needs.

• Hands-on, low-ego attitude; comfortable doing the unglamorous work that early-stage sales requires.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $50,000 – $55,000 per year (or equivalent in local currency)

Location

This role is based on-site in Berlin, Germany , 5 days per week. Remote work is not available for this position.
