Senior Product Designer

As a Product Designer in our Real Estate vertical , you will play a central role in shaping intuitive, trustworthy, and engaging experiences for buyers, sellers, renters, and agents. You’ll work across the entire product development cycle — from early discovery and research through to design delivery and iteration alongside product managers, engineers, UX researchers, and data analysts.

As part of the broader Product Design team, you’ll regularly exchange ideas, participate in design reviews, and contribute to growing a strong, collaborative design culture across the organisation.

A hybrid role that combines remote work with regular presence at our Berlin-Charlottenburg office. The position is a two-year parental leave cover.

The Role

• Partner with product managers, engineers, and researchers across all stages of the product lifecycle — from ideation and concepting through prototyping, testing, and delivery.

• You balance between user- and business needs, championing user-centered design principles and ensuring accessibility and inclusivity across all touchpoints.

• Design clear, scalable patterns, components, and solutions that enhance both customer-facing experiences.

• Facilitate ideation sessions, conduct user interviews, and synthesize research insights into actionable design opportunities.

• Ensure a secure, transparent, and trustworthy experience as users navigate property discovery, transactions, and communication on our platform.

• Continuously test, measure, and iterate on designs to improve usability, efficiency, and delight.

Qualifications

• Experienced as a UX/UI Designer, Product Designer, Interaction Designer or similar role in an agile environment, ideally with experience in B2C platforms

• You have a keen sense for visually appealing and functional design. Ideally, you have previous experience working within a design system. Even better if you’ve helped build one

• You are strong in concept and interaction design; your biggest strength is in breaking complex systems down into easy-to-use interfaces

• You want to play an active role in usability tests as well as deriving concrete steps from them is a matter of course for you.

• You are enthusiastic about user-centred design and enjoy distributing knowledge and the overall product design vision to the team.

• You are comfortable with asking for feedback on your work in its very early stages, to ensure you’re always working towards the most suitable solution

• Proficient in English and German is a must criteria and needed in User Tests with german Users
