About the Role

We're a fast-growing, licensed electricity retailer operating in the European energy market — on a mission to make energy dramatically cheaper and simpler for households and businesses. Our platform enables hardware companies and energy providers to launch dynamic electricity plans through an API-first, AI-powered infrastructure, abstracting away all legal and operational complexity.

As a Member of Commercial Staff , you'll be a versatile, hands-on operator embedded in our small but high-performing commercial team in Berlin Mitte. You'll work directly alongside founders and teammates to build the commercial infrastructure that lets us scale — spanning finance, legal, recruiting, customer support, and partner management. This is a generalist role for someone who thrives on ownership, adapts quickly, and wants their work to matter in a regulated, high-stakes industry.

What You'll Do

• Tackle varied commercial challenges across finance, legal, recruiting, customer support, and partner management as the business grows.

• Own problems end-to-end — from scoping and structuring through to execution and delivery.

• Shift focus and priorities fluidly as business needs evolve, always anchored to what matters most.

• Help design and implement operating practices and internal processes alongside your core responsibilities.

• Contribute to a team culture defined by effective communication, accountability, and craftsmanship.

• Work in-person at our Berlin Mitte office, collaborating closely with a tight-knit, high-calibre team.

What We're Looking For

Required

• German fluency (C1+) — this is a firm requirement for the role.

• 2+ years of demonstrated high performance in a demanding environment: high-growth startup, management consulting, investment banking, professional sports, or high-end hospitality.

• A versatile background — banking, legal, operations, partnerships, or another domain where you can add meaningful commercial leverage.

• Rapid learner who can go from novice to effective in days by engaging experts, reasoning from first principles, and executing with conviction.

• Strong interpersonal style: warm and engaging, with the ability to push hard for results when it counts.

• Proactive owner who notices broken processes and fixes them without waiting to be asked.

Nice to Have

• Prior experience in a regulated industry (energy, finance, legal, or similar).

• Exposure to early-stage or pre-seed company environments where structure is still being built.

• Experience in cross-functional roles spanning more than one business discipline.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: €75,000 – €100,000 per year, depending on experience.

• Direct collaboration with founders and senior team members from day one.

• Significant scope for ownership and impact in a company at an early, formative stage.

• On-site, Berlin Mitte, Germany. This is a fully in-person role — we believe in the power of working closely together, especially at this stage of the company.
