Business Area Digital Enabler:

We offer data-centric solutions for our customers in various industries (e.g. automotive, manufacturing, telco, public, health). Our offering covers the entire project life cycle, from architecture consulting, through data engineering and data analytics, to data science topics and operations (DevOps). In doing so, we work together with customers in agile process models (mainly Scrum).

We use the full range of data sources, from "classic IT" to IOT to social media.

State-of-the-art open source technologies (mostly based on Hadoop) are used. In addition to on-premise building blocks, we are also increasingly working with cloud-based technologies and integrating the latter into hybrid architectures. Our goal: to make our clients' digitization strategies successful.

Tasks

In your position as Principal IT Project Manager (m/f/d) for IT projects, you will take on the strategic and operational management of complex software development, SAP or transformation projects. You manage external and internal stakeholders at C-level and manage global teams using classic and agile approaches.

Your range of tasks includes the following other aspects:

• They take over the management of strategically important and difficult major projects and programs.
• They plan the strategy for the successful implementation of major projects and supervise the individual process steps.
• You set up a project team and ensure that tasks and responsibilities are clearly defined.
• It is your responsibility to identify and actively represent any claims against our customers.
• You are responsible for managing requirements, scope and backlog.
• You set up an efficient risk management system, identify potential obstacles in the process and solve them.
• They ensure the delivery of the agreed delivery items and master even difficult project situations.
• You are responsible for your projects vis-à-vis customers, internal and external service providers, and management.

Profil

This position requires completed training or studies in the areas of IT or business. In addition, you should be able to demonstrate at least 10 years of experience in IT project management of software development projects. You have already successfully completed several major projects/programs in various subject areas. Projects with 100+ employees and near/offshore shares are a matter of course for you.

You should also have the following skills and know-how:

• Very good knowledge and extensive experience in delivering complex software solutions to our demanding customers using best practice tools, technologies and methods (Scaled Agile, DevOps, Continuous Integration, etc.)
• Solution orientation in complex relationships and role models in a team are considered a central element of your working method and transfer of knowledge is a matter of course for you.
• Exceptionally good communication and presentation skills in German and English are a must for this position.
• Experience in preparing requirements analyses in complex projects within an agile environment as well as detailed knowledge of contract, risk and claim management.
• Experience in solution design, software architectures, software development, test automation and deployment is an advantage.
• Agile and/or project management certificates distinguish you (PMP, IPMA, PRINCE2, SCRUM, SAFe); you are optionally certified as a Six Sigma Black Belt, in the area of Design Thinking, COBIT, etc.)

This position is also available on a part-time basis.
